A pair of 19th c. English Regency caned seat side chairs feature a subtle curve from the top shelf to the caned seat. They are constructed of walnut with 4 curved saber legs and a front carved and fluted H stretcher. There is a paper laminated label under each seat that reads "Bought in 1847 by George Torrence Paull.
